On 10th September, Ford Campbell is deserting the busy city
and taking to the Cumbrian hills in a challenge sure to bring weary
leg muscles, epic blisters and hopefully a lot of money for an
important charity. In order to raise money for the
British Heart Foundation,
ten of our dedicated and daring team
will be scaling ten of the highest
peaks in the Lake District in one gruelling day. The journey, which
incorporates a total ascent of 10,000 ft, includes scrabbling 45
degree inclines and trekking a total of 30km in order to reach the
summit of ten of the highest peaks in
the UK, including the legendary Scarfell Pike and Great Gable. We
aim to drag everyone over the finish line in (hopefully) less than
12 hours.
So please support us, delve deep and donate to the British
Heart Foundation, a charity which for half a century has been
campaigning and educating the UK population on reducing one of the
largest causes of death in the modern world. In 2009,
Cardiovascular diseases accounted for 1/3 of deaths in Britain.
Please help Ford Campbell to contribute to the amazing cause of the
BHF.
